Lake Nacogdoches is a smaller lake on Loco Bayou, 10 miles west of Nacogdoches off FM 225. The lake covers a surface area of 2212 acres with a maximum depth of 40ft. The Lake has excellent largemouth bass fishing and crappie fishing. The lake record largemouth bass is 15.34lbs. 

Largemouth bass are typically found around vegetation edges, points, and creek channels. Crappie can be found on artificial habitat such as man made brush piles as well as normal brush piles.
